Pay Rate:

$130,000 - $156,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Pensacola, FL Mill

 

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Supports approximately 400 employees in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Has responsibility for the continuous improvement and measurement of the effectiveness of the mill human resources organization and human resources systems.
  • Acts with manufacturing management in instituting work system improvements that positively impact business profitability. Champion of LMS/LCMS systems and process. Oversees proper availability, capability and utilization of mill personnel to provide highly skilled employees on a just in time manner and within a culture that promotes maximum employee engagement.
  • Create staffing, selection, training and development plans to build teams that fully contribute to achieving business goals.
  • Foster environment focused on alignment, engagement, and execution to accomplish key business objectives.
  • Educate and coach management and others on Company policies and work rules.
  • Champion leadership and people development processes.
  • Develops and ensures implementation of an employee relations strategy. Coordinate closely with employee relations and BHRM to ensure alignment and support.
  • Acts a Chief Spokesperson in negotiations and must be capable to Advocate in Arbitration. Is the expert in contract administration for the facility and the conscious for ensuring fairness, equality and consistency of practices.
  • Accountable for mill Affirmative Action Programs and compliance.
  • Diversity Champion for the Mill.
  • Researches and introduces human resources best practice concepts to ensure that the organization is utilizing leading edge human resources technology and pro-actively considering and implementing new strategies. Shares best practices across the organization.
  • Promote and participate in the planning and implementation of communication strategies which deliver accurate, consistent and timely information on business issues and employee concerns.
  • Proactive internal consultant to Lead Team.
  • Responsible for legal compliance matters related to Human Resources and Labor Relations.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 – 7 years Human Resources and/or related business experience, 7+ years preferred.
  • Experience working with unions preferred.
