IP Murfreesboro Box plant is interested in hiring a professional industrial Facility Specialist that is well rounded in all aspects of industrial equipment and facility maintenance and LOVES the profession! The position will report to the maintenance manager.

FACILITY SPECIALIST -  Must take and pass required testing.

A PROFESSIONAL Facility Specialist will:

• Work SAFELY with a sense of urgency at ALL times
• Be willing and able to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime
• Have 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred but not required.
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.

FOCUS RESPONSIBILITIES:

Including but not limited to -

• High pressure boiler preventative maintenance
• Boiler water treatment, monitoring and recordkeeping
• Process water treatment
• Air compressor monitoring and preventative maintenance
• Fire system monitoring and preventative maintenance
• Keeping inventories of consumable items IE. oil/grease, starch, wax etc.
• Tank inspections
• Building and grounds maintenance excluding mowing/weed whacking etc.
• Assisting maintenance techs when necessary
• Assist in Converting Machine Operations when necessary

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Including but not limited to –

• Industrial electrical
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Bearings
• Conveyors
• Belt drives
• Lubrication
