Pay Rate:

$28.17 - $41.47 dependent on experience

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for all plant equipment.  Including machinery maintenance, lubrication, PM’s, trouble shooting, repairing, upgrading, and possible installations.
  • Test runs all equipment after every repair to ensure proper machine function.
  • To fabricate, manufacture, construct or modify equipment as needed.
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment, such as any servicing of conveyors, presses, stackers, etc. Provide support to production in various ways. 
  • Be able to read and understand mechanical prints, electrical wiring diagrams/schematics, AC/DC motors, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
    Must be able to work with electrical panels
  • Troubleshoot, repair and install mechanical components, electrical controls, AC/DC motors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, bearings, and power transmission.
  • Must have good working knowledge of various meters (volt/amp meters, schematics, dial calipers, heat sensing guns, etc.)
  • Perform fabrication of equipment (welding both arc and gas) to desired needs.  Be able to make adjustments on equipment to improve productivity. 
  • Should be able to operate metal, wood working, and hand tools to make and repair parts.
  • Maintains close relationship with Machine Operators and Production Supervisors with free exchange of information to maintain plant and plant equipment.
  • To perform any ground and building maintenance as required.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Able to work at high heights in a work platform or other work related equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds as needed
  • Possess good hand and eye coordination.
  • Can perform repetitive motion over an eight-hour period of up and down a ladder, or in and out a mobile lift to perform necessary task.
  • Have twenty-twenty vision or wear corrective lens to see clearly in order to perform daily task.
  • Must be able to reach and extend arms above head and shoulder repetitively during an eight-hour period.
  • Can bend, twist, and stretch body, as required to work within tight or confined spaces.
