Business Analysit Manager

As a Business Analyst Manager for France, you will assist in close coordination Business Leadership and prepare at our operating locations reports and analysis at both plant and regional level for various stakeholders across IP (plants, region, division, HQs), providing perspective and insight mainly on commercial and operational performance, while clarifying the message behind the numbers, and identifying areas for business improvement.

 

You can perform this position from any of our following locations: Chalon/Guyancourt/St Amand/Mortagne/Espaly.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Assure accurate and timely reporting of financial and operational performance of France Packaging Division.
  • Provide information for and be an active part of decision making in the management of France Packaging with high quality information.
  • Develop and track KPIs metrics to track critical processes and targets.
  • Ensure existing KPIs are reported consistently among the plants.
  • Ensure timely consolidation and proper reporting of budgets and forecasts of IP France division.
  • Co-ordinate and analyze forecast, budget and strategic plan for the region and providing perspective and insight on financial and operational performance.
  • Act as an intermediary between IP France facilities and EMEA Packaging Division in matters related to financial reporting.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of IP France reporting and analysis by pro-actively seeking opportunities to streamline processes and tools.
  • Act as a key contact for customers in the specific area of expertise.
  • Develop new or redesign existing processes / tools to keep up with changes in business environment.
  • Analysis of competitor’s financials.
  • Strong support to Finance Director and general Manager on an ‘ad-hoc basis’.

 

You have 

 

  • Bachelor’s  or Master’s Degree – preferably in the following areas: Economy, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Financial /Business Analyst, Controlling etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel with the ability to quickly learn other software and computer applications (VBA, Power BI).
  • Experience in project management (preferable).
  • Proven track record in supporting manufacturing business improvement.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience in working with SAP.
  • French mother tongue, and fluency in English.
  • You are an organized person and a self strater, who feels comfortable navigating new environments and dealing with ambiguity, and has the ability to summarize a large number of inputs and make complex simple.
  • Travelling across the facilities might be required, with more frequency in the first months.
