Customer Service Account Specialist

Responsibility to directly communicate with customers regarding account management functions to include providing estimates, reviewing forecasts, order placement, scheduling, product specifications, confirmations. Provide support to sales team, manufacturing and shipping operations.  Work with various functional groups to validate tooling, specifications and manufacturability issues.  Plan and negotiate scheduling to assure on time delivery and manufacturing efficiencies. Demonstrate commitment to Safety and Quality as core values by participating in site programs.



  • Process customer orders from initial customer contact through tooling and production printing.
  • Support sales team by providing product specific cost estimates and quotes.
  • Work with sales team and production scheduler to support meeting customer requested need dates for Preprint.
  • Initiate purchase orders for paper procurement. Assure that risks are mitigated by pre-approval process with sales and customer.
  • Communicate with customers regarding issues such as forecasts, order status, technical data, quotations, order changes and confirmations, as well as any quality feedbacks or questions.
  • Maintain customer data and accurately document and retain all necessary customer approvals.
  • Responsible for set up of specific product specifications for new prints.
  • Organize, set up and lead manufacturing buildability reviews in conjunction with Graphics department.
  • Engage with cross-functional team members and management to resolve complex issues and escalations.


  • High school diploma or GED. Associates degree or BS in appropriate field a plus.
  • Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.  Industry experience desirable.
    • Capability and willingness to learn basic Flexographic printing processes.
    • Computer data-entry experience
    • Experience in understanding and interpreting CAD dimensioned layout drawings, desirable.
    • Experience in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets utilizing basic formulas.
    • Experience in development and execution of Project plans for new product start up. Establish and track milestones and results.
    • Professionally communicate via email, telephone and directly with customer contacts. Ability to use correct grammar and punctuation. 
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions to include; fraction to decimal conversions, percentage calculations and precision measurements.
    • 2-5 years of experience in customer relations / project or account management. 


    • Understand and utilize efficiently the Microsoft office suite.
    • Be Action Oriented.
    • Have professional written skills and communication skills.
    • Maintain professional composure.
    • Able to multitask and work under tight time constraints.
    • Are highly organized and able to prioritize daily tasks.
    • Are able to thrive in a team environment.
