Senior Business Analyst in Finance

Location - Kraków

The role gives broad exposure to International Paper Packaging processes, providing ability to work in multicultural environment with different backgrounds and areas of expertise. It enables regular cooperation with specialists and professionals from International Paper organization including EMEA Senior Management. As a member of the Team you will be involved in a variety of tasks, preparation of reports and analyses at both detailed and consolidated level. Your role will be to translate data into actionable insights, support decision making process and help to identify and overcome possible challenges of the organization. Senior Business Analyst role provides unique opportunity to demonstrate and further develop analytical and technical skills while also expand practical knowledge in the fields of Finance, Manufacturing and general Business Acumen.

• Support EMEA Senior Management in decision making process

• Collect and analyze business performance, finance and manufacturing data

• Monitor and report relevant market intelligence metrics (incl. packaging industry, competitive landscape, macro environment)

• Assess business analysis and reporting needs of the EMEA Packaging division, develop and improve analytical tools and reports

• Drive process redesign initiatives and transfer of new processes to different stakeholders

• Prepare ad-hoc corporate, divisional and business-related reports combining data from central and regional sources

• Support financial planning processes by verifying and analyzing regional input and consolidated numbers

• 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Controlling etc.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferably in Economy, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Econometrics

• Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn software and computer applications e.g. SAP, MS Excel PowerQuery, M language, VBA and/or Power BI (prior experience would be beneficial)

• Fluency in English

• Strong analytical, problem solving and data visualization skills

• Curiosity to explore and care for processes and data (awareness of data organization practices would be an asset)

• Ability and willingness to work with different stakeholders

• Good understanding of key macroeconomic, finance & accounting principles

• Experience in project management as an asset
