International Buyer
The International Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services from foreign countries, ensuring that all purchases are processed accurately and on time.
This position requires extensive knowledge of Mexican and U.S. Customs regulations, as well as proficiency in both English and Spanish. The International Buyer will leverage free trade agreements, such as the USMCA, to optimize international transactions. This role involves
close coordination with vendors, corporate buyers, facility stakeholders, customs brokers, and freight carriers to ensure that all purchase orders (POs), import/export documentation, duties, and billing requirements are correctly handled.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international purchasing, with a strong understanding of Mexican and U.S. Customs regulations and tradeagreements.
Languages: Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.

Key Responsibilities
*Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of goods and services frominternational suppliers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and applicable trade agreements.
*Export/Import Process Coordination: Manage the export/import process, ensuring that all necessary documentation, duties, and customs requirements are met for timely and accurate delivery.
*Incoterms and Trade Agreement Application: Ensure the correct application of
*Incoterms and effectively utilize trade agreements to optimize cost and delivery terms.
*Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, corporate buyers, facility stakeholders, customs brokers, and freight carriers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the procurement process.
*Customs Compliance: Ensure that all purchases comply with Mexican
*Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all international transactions, including POs, import/export documentation, duties, and billing information.
*Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
*Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of international procurement activities.
