The Job You Will Perform:
The Specialty Assembler will work closely with the Specialty lead and is responsible for processes in the Hand Assembly/Specialty Department, such as Corrugate Parts assembly, some hand assembly and some machine assembly.
The Specialty Assembler works as a specialty employee in hand assembly and performs the following duties:
- Standing entire shift
- Corrugated Parts Assembly by hand and use of Bandsaw
- Hot Glue Assembly
- Packing Assembly
- Strapping and Banding
- General Housekeeping
MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS REPEATEDLY THROUGHOUT SHIFT
- Light lifting between 1 and 10 lbs. continuously.
- Perform various job functions throughout the day. (multi-task)
- Stooping, walking, bending, twisting, standing, sweeping, hand motion, wrist motion, body rotation, counting, reading tape measure.
- Work in an environment that is often very hot in the summer.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma Preferred/GED
- 3 Months Experience (Corrugated packaging setting)Manufacturing experience preferred

- Must have ability to learn and understand production schedules.
- Must have ability to understand all operations of the specialty department.

Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.
