Hourly Full-Time (6a-4p OVERTIME AND SATURDAY WORK WILL BE REQUIRED AT TIMES)

The Job You Will Perform: 

 The Specialty Assembler will work closely with the Specialty lead and is responsible for processes in the Hand Assembly/Specialty Department, such as Corrugate Parts assembly, some hand assembly and some machine assembly.
  The Specialty Assembler works as a specialty employee in hand assembly and performs the following duties:
 

• Standing entire shift
• Corrugated Parts Assembly by hand and use of Bandsaw
• Hot Glue Assembly
• Packing Assembly
• Strapping and Banding
• General Housekeeping

MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS REPEATEDLY THROUGHOUT SHIFT

• Light lifting between 1 and 10 lbs. continuously.
• Perform various job functions throughout the day. (multi-task)
• Stooping, walking, bending, twisting, standing, sweeping, hand motion, wrist motion, body rotation, counting, reading tape measure.
• Work in an environment that is often very hot in the summer.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma Preferred/GED
• 3 Months Experience (Corrugated packaging setting)Manufacturing experience preferred

• Must have ability to learn and understand production schedules.
• Must have ability to understand all operations of the specialty department.

Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.
