Position Title:

Shipper Loader/Clamp Truck Driver

 

Pay Rate:

$24.28/hr during probationary period

Shipper Loader - $25.38/hr upon qualification

Clamp Truck Driver - $26.48/hr upon qualification

 

Shift Differential:

2nd Shift - 25 cents/hour

3rd Shift - 35 cents/hour 

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm)

3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am)

The Job You Will Perform:

 

Shipper Loader:

Sit down Forklift/pull pack experience preferred 

Perform advanced level material handling for material processing
Complete daily pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report
Load and unload trailers, rail cars and/or containers
Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar, bale size and weight variables
Participate in weekly and monthly inventory and reporting
Adhere to Plant policies and guidelines
 

Clamp Truck Driver:

Locate and transport roll stock to the corrugating machines, and perform other service functions to support corrugating operations

Read run line ups, corrugating schedules, and other documents to insure customer requirements are met; communicate line-up information and changes to other shifts

Unload rail cars and properly stage into the proper designated bays

Enter rollstock data into systems; maintain organized inventories and record all movements into systems

Maintain work areas to plant housekeeping standards

Adhere to Plant policies and guidelines

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be authorized to work in the United States

3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
Corrugated industry experience preferred

Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to understand and communicate information  

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision 

The ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler
The ability to use basic shop math
The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
