CPS Pricing Analyst

 

Pay Rate:

$75,800 - $101,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Increase IP’s profitability, market share and competitive advantage and to overserve our Eighties.
  • Play a leadership role in our Cost Savings and Value Creation team and in bringing value to our Eighties and will have a broad range of resource/functional interaction.
  • Ensure timely pricing for our CSI activity.
  • Interact with a wide variety of groups within the company’s and customer’s infrastructure and as such will need to have strong interpersonal skills while being able to lead without sole authority. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create CSVC Pre-work Templates for up to 80 customers annually to include: 
  • Volume Assessment and mapping 
  • Profitability assessment 
  • Big Twelve Assessment 
  • Dirty Dozen Assessment 
  • Environmental Assessments of Carbon Footprint 
  • SKU Analysis 
  • Understand the dynamics of these metrics and complete comparable assessment of multiple accounts. 
  • Work with the Commercial team to develop additional metrics that provide value to International Paper and our key accounts. 
  • Maintain alignment with the Memphis based Pricing team to ensure correct pricing process. 
  • Assess CSI efforts for pricing, cost saving and margin enhancement effectiveness.  
  • Drive rapid turn-around in CSI pricing. 
  • Champion our Star Report Process ensuring the effective communication of our CPS efforts for our key accounts. 

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • 3+ years corrugated experience in a sales, customer service, design, or project management role 
  • 3 years business and market knowledge of consumer products or industrial packaging 
  • BS degree or equivalent business experience 
  • Thorough understanding of North American Packaging Solutions’ products, services and manufacturing capabilities and quality processes. 
  • Creative thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Quick turn-around ability; very responsive 
  • Flexible team player with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Highly personable with ability to interact at all levels of an organization. 
  • Advanced Excel skills, Power Point and Microsoft Office proficiency required. 
  • A strong understanding of the offerings of CPS Creative Services Team 
  • Plant experience and an understanding of key operational inputs.
