$47,300 - $63,000 (USCORE Pay Scale)

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • The position creates and facilitates flexographic electronic artwork in a team environment managers and employees at the facility
  • Utilizes current graphic design technology and software to produce imagery for the flexographic print industry, originates design, art and copy layouts
  • Determines style, size and arrangement of type and illustrations; provides instructions or directly assembles final layout for printer.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers, estimate and enter orders, handle billing and perform a variety of additional activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships and support effective print plate production and shipping operations.
  • Some travel may be required.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years’ professional experience as a graphic designer and illustrator required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Macintosh computers and all major graphics applications, with proficiency in adobe illustrator and Photoshop and basic to intermediate skills in plotters, tools, materials and needed equipment.
  • Must be able to conceptualize and perform at a rapid pace while client and potential customers are present.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, problem-solving skills, multi-tasking skills—must work well under pressure and be deadline driven.
  • Strong oral, written and e-mail communication and listening skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-sufficient, results orientated, customer focused, innovative and persistent.
  • Must be detail-oriented, reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Customer Service Skills Required.
  • Knowledge of the post-print box industry is a plus.
  • Experience in ESKO Artwork Systems & CAD based programs are a plus.
