Blend Plant Supervisor

The Job You Will Perform:

This position is a part of the Specialty Products Division and reports to the Manufacturing Manager of the Marysville Specialty Products group. This is a salaried, full time, non exempt position.



This position is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing operation. (i.e. Safety, Scheduling, Production, Shipping / Receiving, Inventory Management, Housekeeping, Preventative Maintenance, Directing Hourly Employees, Reporting, items as directed, etc.)


Key Functions:

Supervise hourly employee crew and daily production activities for a 1 shift operation. Implement plant initiatives for safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, waste, etc. Monitor effectiveness of programs and work to improve performance in all areas. Typical daily duties will consist of processing of orders. Supervision of, and participation in the production of the orders. Ensuring all orders are prepared for shipment. Shipping and receiving of products. Completion of the daily paperwork and cleaning the plant at the end of the day are also required. Excellent customer service skills are a necessity.

The preferred candidate will be a proven leader with supervisory experience, a goal oriented, self-starter with good communication and computer skills. Should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization. Candidate will also demonstrate a sincere interest and desire to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Prior Ink experience preferred including familiarity with ink manufacturing processes. Ink dispensing systems knowledge is a plus.
