Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:
- Support daily operations for a department of up to 175 employees
- Support Safety systems for Department
- Track employee vacations, floating holidays and attendance
- Maintain headcount of department including seniority
- Maintain call out lists
- Mill Outage preparation and support
- Serve as Department administrator for Kronos timekeeping system (Current Time Keeping system)
- Train new timekeepers and managers on timekeeping system
- Develop weekly work schedules
- Ensure weekly entry of operational of work hours
- Partner with HR on employee moves and work hour changes
- Partner with HR to track S&A/FMLA approvals
- Analyze time entry and resolve issues prior to payroll running each week
- Requisition items through SAP
- Prepare routine correspondence, including letters, memos, agendas, presentations, forms etc.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and records in appropriate files to ensure organization of materials
- Provide operational support, including assisting with Microsoft applications
- Coordinating training for salaried and hourly maintenance employees
- Distributing weekly weekend duty schedules to all mill salaried employees
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical/problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate with employees from different backgrounds
- Support and uphold company policies and the Collective Bargaining Agreements (USW and IBEW)
- Self-directed with strong time and project management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, TEAMS, SAP, TRAKS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and deadlines
- Working knowledge of some type of timekeeping system
- Ability to analyze budgets
- Understanding of complex safety systems (ZES, Confined Space, Hotwork, etc.)
