Pay Rate

$ 18.28 / hour + 0.26 shift differential

The Job You Will Perform:  

  • Assist in set ups, running, and cleaning the printing converting equipment
  • Have the ability to perform the duties/responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation;
  • the ability to read, write, and speak English; accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; use basic shop math;
  • Learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Some basic knowledge of computers is needed.
  • Motivated individual who is capable of performing a multitude of functions
  • Flexible, fast-paced production environment.
  • Focus on cleanliness and safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity  
  • Following all safety rules and practices
  • Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications.
  • Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders.
  • Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company.
  • Perform set up functions such as zeroing and opening/closing the machine; installing inks, and cleaning
  • Using available time to prepare for set ups and runs
  • Perform assigned clean up functions, such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding, miscellaneous scrap.
  • Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings
  • And perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Applicants must have a stable work history, good attendance record, positive attitude and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team. 
  • Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
  • Flexibility, proactive work ethic 
  • Ability to read, write, use tape measure properly, use basic computer skills
  • Safe work attitude
