International Paper, a major paper producer is proactively committed to maintaining a leadership role in our industry.  Our Red River mill in Campti, LA has a need for a qualified Electrical Journeyman I.

EDUCATION

• Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent

• Electrical applicants must have served 4 years of electrical apprenticeship or helper, and must be a Journeyman Electrician

OR

• Electrical applicants must have one of the following

•  Electrical technology degree
• Certificate from accredited college or trade school

• Willing and capable of working all shifts

EXPERIENCE (desired skills)

• Troubleshooting high-voltage and power distribution systems
• Troubleshooting AC motors and drives, DC motors and drives
• Control systems experience: DCS, PLC’s, and PC’s
• Knowledge of  electrical schematics and elementaries
• Ability to work in team environment
