International Paper, a major paper producer is proactively committed to maintaining a leadership role in our industry.  Our Red River mill in Campti, LA has a need for a qualified Electrical or Instrumentation Journeyman III.

EDUCATION

• Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent
•  Certificate from accredited college or trade school

OR

• Applicants must have one of the following:
• 5+ years of work experience
• Industrial technology degree

EXPERIENCE (desired skills)

Trouble shooting skills for:

• High-voltage and power distribution
• AC motors and drives, DC motors and drives
• Control systems experience: DCS, PLC’s, PC’s and analytical equipment
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, calibration, and use of test equipment
• Control valve repair experience
• Knowledge of P&ID’s, instrument loops, and electrical schematics
• Ability to work in team environment
• Ability to work shifts
