$68,300 – $91,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

The Manufacturing Excellence (ME) Process Engineer will be responsible for process improvement efforts in the operations area that they are assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring ME principles are fully utilized in their operations area through identification of realizable gaps and development of plans to achieve targeted improvement and results. 
  • Management of process improvement efforts within the operations area for energy, chemicals, raw materials, reliability, productivity, quality, engagement and customers. 
  • Coordination of the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of operations area performance improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstration of leadership in the area of safety and support broad based participation in the mill’s safety process.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Paper Science preferred.  B.S. degree in another engineering discipline accepted.
  • 1 – 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must have strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be action oriented and demonstrate a drive for results.
  • Must demonstrate good time management skills.
