Starch Warehouseman - 3rd Shift
Position Title:
Starch Warehouseman
Pay Rate:
$26.21/hr
Sign-on Bonus:
$500 after 30 days,
$500 after 6 months
Category/Shift:
Hourly Full-Time (2nd shift) 3pm-11pm (3rd Shift) 11pm-7am Monday-Friday
$0.25 cents shift differential for 2nd shift and $0.30 cent shift differential for 3rd shift
12 hour shift and/or weekend work required when needed for production goals.
Must be willing to work any shift!

The Job You Will Perform:
- Receiving deliveries of starch and related chemicals, verifying the quantity and condition against invoices or packing slips
- Unloading incoming materials and safely transporting them to the proper storage locations within the plant
- Ensuring appropriate handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain the quality and integrity of the starch, considering factors like temperature and humidity control
- Maintaining accurate inventory records of starch and related supplies, potentially utilizing a warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software
- Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Transporting materials (including starch) to production areas as needed to ensure a continuous workflow
- Ensuring materials are properly prepared and kitted before sending them to production line
- Safely and efficiently operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance checks on equipment
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, such as OSHA standards.
- Keeping the warehouse area clean, neat, and orderly
- Implementing space-saving solutions like narrow aisle racking for efficient organization
- Other duties as assigned by management
The Skills You Will Bring:
- 2 years manufacturing experience highly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
- Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions
