Key Responsibilities:
- General Labor throughout the mill
- Safely handle miscellaneous materials in various environment
- Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts
- Team player must be able to maintain safe, quality, housekeeping and productivity
- Must be able to work in all types of environments (hot & cold)
- Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks, fork lifts, skid steers & spotter trucks
- Must have an intermediate level of computer skills
- Must successfully complete 2-2 ½ weeks on-boarding program
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent
- Forklift experience preferred
- Manufacturing work experience preferred
In addition, qualified candidates must be willing to meet the following requirements: Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment; Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment; Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule; Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification as needed; Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis; Wear required safety equipment; Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection).
Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly rate for a Utility Rate II is $27.41
