Pay Rate:

$47, 300-$63,000

 

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

 

Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short –term incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • The key accountabilities listed below are not to be considered all-inclusive; a team member may be required to perform additional tasks, as directed, and based on changing business needs of the company.
  • Process a wide variety of invoices including No PO’s, CWR’s, Check Requests, Freight on Goods Invoices, Freight on Finished Goods Invoices, Demurrage and Detention Invoices. 
  • Have a working knowledge of sales tax guidelines. 
  • Works to understand and troubleshoot PIN’s. 
  • Working knowledge of ScaleBoss/MoistureDowngrade/RFQ System to process raw materials receipts. 
  • Working knowledge of SAP to Display Scheduling Agreements, Purchase Orders, Documents, Vendors, Look Up PO by Vendor and Vendor Line Items, Perform Service Entry, and Create a Purchase Requisition. 
  • Month end activities related to project invoices, service invoices, and expense statements. 
  • Perform payroll duties (backup). 
  • Support and exemplify the vision and values of Cedar River and maintain a positive and supportive attitude. 
  • Help support a culture based on values of empowerment, high involvement, and a participative work force.  
  • Maintain and develop team relationships. 
  • Develop, maintain, and use reliable methods for all processes and their improvements. 
  • Understand and meet internal and external customer requirements. 
  • Assist other team members in the mill as necessary to improve process reliability and maintain a customer and quality-focused organization. 
  • Fullfill area specific 5S expectations(5 Minute 5S Checklists, replenishment of tools and supplies, 5S Audits,etc). 
  • General Accounting support as needed. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to wear all required safety equipment. 
  • Occasional standing, pushing, pulling and grasping.  
  • Frequent reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work.   
  • Constant sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing. 

 

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • 3+ years experience in accounting. Preferably from a large, national or decentralized organization. 
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required. 
  • Proficiency in Windows based software programs such as MS Excel and Word or comparable software program. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
