The Job You Will Perform:

• Application administration and support of Aveva PI data historian, GE Plant Applications and other related tools in a mill manufacturing environment
• Perform first level support of SQL Server
• Support of environmental monitoring applications
• Development of applications as required in accordance to corporate standards
• Support of applications as required across multiple mills by region
• Perform off-hour support on a rotational basis
• Participate in recommendations and implementations of system improvements
• Maintain systems documentation
• Support disaster recovery plans for mill IT Systems

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field preferred.
• Typically have 1 to 3 years of experience in an information technology role
• Knowledge of the client server systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in web/Windows applications support for manufacturing
• Strong background in server/personal computer hardware and operating systems
• Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving techniques
• Experience with networking and security is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Learning on the fly
• Customer focus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated/strong work ethic
• Good organization and planning skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment (locally and remotely)
