The Job You Will Perform:
The Quality & Document Control Coordinator is a member of the Customer-In Team at the Columbus Mill, reporting to the Product Performance Manager. This position oversees all of the record keeping for the Customer-In department, as well as provides administrative support the department team members.
This position is located at the Columbus, MS Global Cellulose Fibers mill. As one of the largest softwood pulp producers in the world, this location produces bleached softwood pulp for use in paper and specialty products such as absorbent personal care products, pharmaceuticals and photographic-based papers.
Key Accountabilities:
The Quality & Document Control Coordinator is responsible for:
- Maintaining the desktop and web versions of Document Management System (DMS) and troubleshooting issues
- Managing and tracking the Document Review Process for the Columbus Mill
- Providing support to the Quality department including:
- Audit Support (ISO and Internal)
- Review / Edit Quality Documents
- Quality New Hire Onboarding
- Maintaining Quality SharePoint Site
- Maintaining Certificate of Analysis (COA) distribution contacts
- Assist with travel arrangements, including approval forms, registration forms, and submitting travel expense reports
- Special event/meeting planning and execution
- Record management for the Customer-In department (paper and electronic)
- Understand the importance of and complies with Mill safety and environmental policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain office supplies and pick up materials from off-site when needed
- Report generation and distribution
- Lead coordination of activities with other support personnel and maintain positive relationships with all levels of employees and customers

The following qualifications are required for the Customer Service Administrative Assistant position:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
- 5+ years in an administrative/clerical position is preferred
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Proficient to advanced computer skills
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office including, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access Database and Microsoft Outlook
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to:
- Handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment
- Be willing to help others as needed
- Adapt easily to frequently changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude
- Work under pressure and meet critical deadlines; be well organized; and have good time management skills
- Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
- Be a self-starter who can prioritize and complete his/her own work with little direct supervision
