Position Title

Truck Driver 4

 

 

Pay Rate:

$28.30/hr

 

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time, 1st Shift (5 or 6 am, Flexible Start Time), Monday - Friday

 

 

Physical Location: International Paper Recycling, 2800 Dixon Street, Des Moines, IA 50316 

 

 

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the company's vehicle as to comply with policies/procedures and DOT regulations
  • Operate a Skid steer loader to load/unload goods, making multiple stops along the bale route
  • Complete required routing through the use of all approved transportation vehicles (Box Van, Roll On-Roll Off, TTFU, Semi)
  • Backfill other Driving positions as needed (must be able to drive a Box Van, Roll On Roll Off, TTFU, and Semi (must understand Van/ruck specifications and account needs/details)
  • Complete pre-trip inspection report (or VCR)
  • Ensure timely pickups for scheduled customers
  • Attend daily safety-tool box meetings
  • Check in with dispatcher for additional information or routing changes
  • Complete and submit truck logs and post trip inspection reports at end of shift
  • Complete daily housekeeping, cleaning and trash removal from cab of truck
  • Post trip inspection reports at end of shift
  • Reporting any safety or maintenance concerns

  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • Medically certified
  • Drug and Alcohol training
  • Air Brakes certification
