Woodyard Operator (Goss Woodyard)
Pay Rate:
$42,800 – 56,000
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:
- Weigh/scale trucks as required
- Maintain reports/records as required
- Operate self-propelled knuckleboom loader and other wood-handling and heavy equipment; to include, but not limited to:
- Front-End Loader
- Bulldozer
- Backhoe
- Man Lift
- Pick-up trucks
- Dump trucks
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Perform downtime maintenance repairs
- Sprinkler maintenance, installation, and inspections
- Perform clean-up and housekeeping activities
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Other Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work in extremely adverse conditions with degree of irritation from moisture, heat, cold, and dust
- Must be able to work flexible hours including unscheduled overtime, weekends, nights and holidays
- Must be willing to accommodate daytime hours and weekly schedule shifts
- Current Scheduled Shifts:
- Five eight-hour days
- Monday to Friday
- Must be able and willing to work overtime
- Must be willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as required

- Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures to include: Federal, State, OSHA, and Company policies and procedures
- Must wear and become certified to wear all appropriate safety personal protective equipment (PPE), to include, but not limited to: high-visibility shirts, hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toe boots, gloves, personal harnesses and hard hat.
- Must be willing to learn and eventually be able to operate and maintain heavy equipment; including, but not limited to:
- Knuckleboom Loaders
- Man Lifts
- Tractors
- Dump Trucks
- Bull Dozer
- Ability to safely and professionally perform routine maintenance and assist in mechanical repairs of said equipment
- Usage of power tools
- Work within a collaborative team environment
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
- Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License
