The Job You Will Perform:

• Safety process audits and behavior observations
• Safety suggestion administration
• Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Lock Out Tag and Try (LOTT) review and updates
• Facilitates Safety Committee meetings
• Participates in incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions
• Coordinate new employee safety orientation and ensure that safety training is being completed in a timely manner
• Serves as the safety information Coordinator
• Communicate with all shift supervisors and management on a daily basis
• Coordinate and communicate weekly safety training topics
• Track and update weekly safety training in the NAC Leaders Guide
• Sort and file all safety training and facility inspection materials
• Monitor and communicate Check It (SWO) plant participation/trends
• Gather all materials for monthly Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)/Air Emission tracking for facility
• Gather information for month end SLI (Safety Leading Indicators), train as back up
• Update Machine Safety Qualification tracker
• Complete monthly and quarterly Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) audits and oil inventories

• Support Environmental responsibilities 
• Must be willing to identify and address unsafe practices and conditions and take necessary corrective action
• Responsible for driving IP’s safety culture and adhere to corporate and human resources policy
• Serve as a role model by personally following all plant safety rules and processes
• Perform all other duties assigned as assigned

The Skills You Will Bring:

• 1-2 years of EHS experience
• Must be willing to work any shift and to work a variable shift schedule
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
