The Job You Will Perform:

1. Ensure all Safety standards are met.

2. Operate and monitor the Starch Kitchen, Bechart Waste Water and Mechanical Evaporator Distiller.

3. Maintain housekeeping standards of all tanks filter plates and work areas.

4. Inspect equipment on a regular basis.

5. Record and monitor gauge readings and operational data as required.

6. Maintain proper formulas and Starch Quality limits.

7. Maintain PH levels.

8. Perform Quality checks and record results.

9. Manually fill Borax Hopper (50 lb. bags).

10. Perform Preventative and light Maintenance

11. Change raw materials in starch kitchen and waste treatment room

12. Other duties as assigned.

13. Assist and train other team members as needed

14. Adhere to all plant safety rules

15. Vacation relief for Wet End as needed

16. Attend safety and plant wide meeting

17. Forklift experience is a plus.

18. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.

19. Able to lift 50 pound required.

20. Highly motivated and able work with minimal supervision.

21. The ability to continually learn new and develop new processes. Mastery of the system is required within 90 days.

22. Basic mechanical ability

23. Ability to manage documentation & maintain legible records.
