Customer Service Representative

SUMMARY

Responsibility to communicate with customers, estimate and enter orders, and perform a variety of additional activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships supporting Sales, Manufacturing and shipping operations; has a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and works with production staff to achieve on-time customer deliveries.

 

Key Functions/Responsibilities of this position are:

  • Provide excellent customer service through professional, timely and accurate customer communications
  • Handles multiple accounts of small to large customers with varying degrees of complexity.
  • Process purchase orders, coordinate account credits, and maintain customer data.
  • Communicate with customers regarding issues such as order status, estimates and quotations, order changes and confirmations, as well as any complaints or questions.
  • Initiate entry of customer complaints into the customer feedback system
  • Coordinate warehouse inventories, reorder and ship quantities based on established parameters
  • Work with production staff and utilize KIWI system to achieve on-time customer communications

 

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent phone etiquette and courteous, professional communications with customers and team members
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively and work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities and demanding customer base
  • Customer relations/service experience in a manufacturing setting and 1+ year of corrugated industry specific customer service experience preferred
