The Job You Will Perform:

The Franklin Mill is looking for a highly motivated, engaged, committed individual that has an interest and background in finance in a manufacturing environment.  This non-exempt salaried position reports directly to the mill controller and will support a broad range of accounting activities.

Key Functions:

• Responsible for ongoing accounting activities including payroll processing, labor forecast and budget, raw material and packaging receipts, packaging inventory, accounts payable, miscellaneous billings and deposits, support of internal controls and vehicle registrations.
• Responsible for month-end close activities including expense accruals, production reporting, inventory adjustments, SAP Materials Management closing, and monthly report preparation.
• General office administration duties.
• Other task/projects as deemed necessary/required by management.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including ability to analyze information and manipulate data.
• Minimum 2 years successful office experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable, general ledger, and inventory.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
• Able to produce accurate work on a timely basis.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and interruptions.
• Comfortable working both independently and as a member of a team.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP financial application
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education
• Previous payroll experience
