Pay Rate:

$78,100 - $94,500

Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

Provide accounting support and analytical services to support mill operations. This individual must support and exemplify the vision and organizational values of International Paper.

 

The key accountabilities listed below are not to be considered all-inclusive; a team member may be required to perform additional tasks, as directed, and based on changing business needs of the company.

 

  • Support the Mill Controller in meeting financial data needs and deadlines.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely processing of accounting and financial information.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and adhered to accordingly.
  • Actively involved in the annual budgeting processes.
  • Assist in analyzing/tracking certain defined financial information.
  • Perform and coordinate a variety of regular and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
  • Respond to needs for special analytical and financial information.
  • Assist other teams in reviewing and understanding their financial and cost information.
  • Coach safety in others and lead by example.
  • Develop and maintain team relationships.
  • Provide back-up support as needed to accounting team members.
  • Develop, maintain, and use reliable methods for all processes and their improvements.
  • Understand and meet internal and external customer requirements.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Two to five years of accounting experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Good analytical skills
  • Respond quickly and effectively to requests/concerns
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in accounting, internal controls, cost analysis, inventory management and financial systems

Preferred

  • Experience working in a high performance work system and a quality/customer focused environment.
  • Paper industry or manufacturing experience.
