Pay Rate:

$75,800 - $101,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Promoting a safe working environment and safe work practices building safety requirements and information into all work plans, participating in mill safety initiatives, tracking and communicating area safety work order progress and contractor EHS management
  • Participating in the MWS process including attending the daily MWS meeting, approving work requests, screening emergency and break-in work, weekly creating a work request back log report, creating unplanned work order backlog, auditing completion of work orders when they are returned, completing outage and contractor work orders in SAP, and prioritizing work orders to plan and schedule
  • Routine and outage work order planning including traveling to the work site to evaluate a problem and plan repairs, determining the specific location and scope of work, as well as the material requirements and parts locations, verifying kitting and delivery of parts to the “READY” area, identifying special tools, ladders and rigging and assures they are at work site when required, providing work procedures where they exist, identifying safety precautions, permits and ZES requirements, determining the staffing requirements, time estimates, coordination issues and coordinates the work providing sketches, digital pictures or drawings as needed, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and precision maintenance in work plans , develops and maintains a file of task lists for repetitive work, assists with the development of PM routes, participates in the outage planning system and assists in the creation of shutdown schedules
  • Ordering materials which includes writing and tracking requisitions and following up as needed to ensure timely delivery of materials contacting vendors as required to ensure proper materials are ordered, informing the Maintenance Team Leader when materials have arrived and job is ready to schedule, controls cost by ensuring that unused materials are returned, coordinates and assists with vendor site visits and works with the purchasing agent to obtain estimates and quotes for jobs
  • Managing the work order backlog including verifying work order descriptions, equipment numbers, service functions, priority and special codes and works with OMC(s) to delete duplicate or unnecessary work orders, forwards work orders when additional engineering is required, audits completed work orders for added comments to history, maintains a planned backlog of routine and shutdown work, participates in periodic backlog reviews and creates planned work order backlog
  • Maintaining equipment records in SAP through assisting in the creation of new FL and Equipment in SAP, making equipment transfers, adding new equipment specifications and adding to equipment bill of materials
  • Other responsibilities includes:
  • Participating in inventory adjustment/reduction (MRO), in the creation of the Facility MWS document,  updating the Facility MWS document, AP Master Data improvement plan, updating current asset changes in SAP, providing new asset information for updating SAP, entering new Asset information in SAP, updating the Functional Location criticalities (annually), participating in the Facility SAP historical analysis (quarterly), and participating in the Facility MWS metric review (monthly)

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • High School degree is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience in a similar industry preferably with experience planning and scheduling work.
