The Job You Will Perform:
We currently have an opening for a Production/Layout Artist in our Enhanced Graphics Solutions Hillsboro Preprint facility. This position will modify, facilitate and output flexographic electronic artwork in a team environment by utilizing a strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator. Working knowledge of Esko, DeskPack, and/or ArtPro as well as GMG software products is helpful.
This is a production position and not a creative design role.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Three years of experience in print production and/or like is preferred.
- A working knowledge of Macintosh computers and all major graphics applications, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is needed.
- Intermediate skills in plotters, RIP’s, and other related hardware.
- Knowledge of the flexo print industry as well as Esko, DeskPack, or ArtPro software is a plus.
- Serve as backup liaison between Prep and Press teams, as needed.
- Must be able to multi-task in a deadline sensitive environment, be detail oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable with problem solving.
- Organization, reliability, flexibility, communication, leadership and teamwork are a must.
