Position Title: 

Forklift Operator

 

Pay Rate:

19.58 plus shift premium

 

Sign on Bonus:    

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,  

 

Category/Shift:

3rd Shift - Hourly Full-Time (11pm-7am – Monday-Friday) and some Saturdays

2nd Shift - Hourly Full-Time (3pm-11pm – Monday-Friday) and some Saturdays

The Job Requirements and Job You Will Perform:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Education or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • 3-5 years of Fork Truck/Industrial Truck Operator Experience Preferred
  • Experience loading and unloading product in trailers
  • Experience with completing necessary paperwork for shipments
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Individuals must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Individuals must be willing work in a non-climate environment; exposed to heat and cold

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Ability to safely operate forklift while moving materials throughout the facility.
  • Follow handling of product procedures to eliminate damage to product while on the forks and in transit.
  • Must have some basic knowledge of computer in order to create bill of lading as well as invoice shipments
