<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">SUMMARY

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The SpaceKraft Liner Machine Supervisor has responsibility for overseeing all 1st shift Liner Machine production employees in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, inventory and housekeeping. In addition, they will work to lead and motivate employees to work efficiently and effectively, ensuring a safe work environment and a quality product.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Supervise machine centers and provide leadership for the production team in the areas of safety, process reliability, administers plant policies, housekeeping, waste control, productivity improvement, cost effectiveness, and people system.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ensuring compliance of all quality checks; coordinate upkeep of machinery with Maintenance team to minimize downtime; assist in troubleshooting machine problems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ensuring accuracy of production counts and inventory levels.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Promote continuous improvement and reliable methods within the organization
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Establishing high morale within your department by showing fairness, consistency, and an interest in addressing/resolving employee problems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Overseeing the training of employees, planning and assigning work.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Reporting to the Site Manager any issues that might affect overall production or plant operations.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Additional duties may be assigned by management.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">QUALIFICATIONS

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Minimum qualifications include:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Supervisory experience of 3+ years is required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs are required.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Preferred Qualifications include:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">College and/or technical coursework
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prior experience in flexible liquid packaging and/or injection molding is highly preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prior experience in project development, team leadership, and process capability analysis
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Knowledgeable of continuous improvement methods such as Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience with facilitating problem solving and process improvement activities.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">We are looking for the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in a successful candidate:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Knowledge of industry standards for production, food safety, waste, and AIB/SQF housekeeping.

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Skill in providing leadership, direction, and supervision of production associates.
