Pay Rate:

$30.50/hr. up to $34.94/hr.

 

Sign-on Bonus:       

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

 

Retention Bonus:   

$500 after 1 year

Additional lump sum after 2 years

 

Category/Shift:

Candidates must be open to 2nd (3pm - 11pm) and 3rd (11pm - 7am) shift, depending on company vacancies. This role is subject to mandatory scheduled overtime.

The Job You Will Perform:

 

This position is responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our fast-pace Kansas City Container plant that is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state of the art for the corrugated industry.

 

Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Following all safety rules and practices
  • Preforming preventive maintenance activities
  • Performing emergency / break down industrial maintenance
  • Performs advanced manufacturing machine troubleshooting
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics)
  • Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
  • Working with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • At least one year of successful mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility
  • On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected
  • Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus
  • Strong knowledgeable of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical and electronics technologies
  • Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities
  • Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work orders
  • Provide own tools initially (tools worn out on the job will be replaced)
