The Job You Will Perform:
The Hydraulic Technician is a specialized role in the Mansfield Mill Maintenance Department. This position involves becoming familiar and being proficient in the fields of preventative maintenance and hydraulic analysis.
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems from 5,000 to 10,000 PSI, including port-a-power equipment
- Interact with process control technicians to solve problems with hydraulic equipment in the paper manufacturing process
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-hydraulic and manually-actuated hydraulic valves
- Read and understand hydraulic schematics
- Troubleshoot systems using hydraulic schematics
- Interpret oil analysis results of hydraulic systems
- Willingness to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the hydraulic maintenance process
- Possess a high level of integrity –peers, supervisor, and craftsmen must be able to rely on the information given for accuracy and completeness.
- Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and keep track of and prioritize work schedule.
- Solid communication skills with different levels in the organization, primarily peers and supervisors.
- Working safely in an industrial environment
