This position will assist journeyman-level mechanics in routine maintenance work as well performing many duties independently.
Duties for journeyman-level mechanics include, but are not restricted to, replacing valves & gaskets, basic welding, repacking pumps & valves, forklift operations, screwed pipe & tubing installations, pump repair & replacement, repair of rotating assemblies, roll repair and replacements, motor replacements, and repair of mechanical drive systems.

The Skills You Will Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, LUBRICATION, WELDING, OR PIPEFITTING.
- Must be 18 years or older and eligible for employment in the US
- High School Diploma or GED
- Industrial technology degree or certificate from accredited college or trade school in a mechanical discipline (millwright, machinist, lubrication, welding or pipefitting)
- Basic computer skills; strong math/physics understanding
- Able to function in a team environment.
PLUS: Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
- Pre-employment and periodic drug screens for illicit use of drugs
- Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
- Work overtime, holidays and/or weekends regularly and with last minute notification.
- Wear required safety equipment
- Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection).
