Pay Rate:

$93,400 - $124,500

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Purpose

IT B2B Analyst partners with the business community and serves as a point of contact for IT related activities.  The Business Analyst analyzes requirements, defines options, scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. 

 

This position focuses primarily on implementing and sustaining B2B functionality, using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and other third-party Portal solutions like Ariba, SPS Commerce for external customers across NAPS business. This position may assist and/or lead business discretionary projects and may also serve as a business representative for technical-driven initiatives.

 

 

The Job You Will Perform:

  1. Acts as a liaison between the business and Information Technology on all IT-related requests.  Represents the needs of the business to IT for business driven and IT/Enterprise driven initiatives.  Focuses and coordinates the implementation of EDI across NAPS business, with national accounts and large volume local customers.
  2. Manage the implementation process for more complex EDI interfaces across multiple Order to Cash systems.
  3. Own new EDI requests from initiation to completion, working directly with the customer’s IT team and business partners to understand the customer requirements and the business process.  With this information, does the following:
    1. Manages project completion by coordinating with the customer and business on the timeline & tasks
    2. Completes functional process analysis, design, and testing of new and existing business processes
    3. Creates mapping specifications and test scenarios
    4. Facilitates connectivity setup, data mapping, data cleanup, etc. with other IT & business teams
    5. Performs testing and troubleshooting by working closely with the customer
    6. Creates Standard Operating Procedure documentation
    7. Provides EDI training to plants & other business partners
    8. Enables customer profiles in order management systems to use EDI
  4. Act as a liaison with the business/process owner ITSS and other IT groups to coordinate the delivery of information technology solutions to the business. 
  5. Coordinate any new business requirements or projects for EDI.
  6. Provide support for existing EDI integrations, which includes resolving issues and changes.
  7. Ensure NAPS & customers’ needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with the team and appropriate managers.
  8. Facilitate and drive meetings and conference calls with different stakeholders including external customers, Sales, Customer Service, Centralized Invoicing, Credit, and other IT teams.
  9. Interact with internal and external customers to create relationships that deliver value
  10. Coordinates medium to large sized IT projects and enhancements.
  11. Documents functional specs for production changes, application enhancements, and new interface development.
  12. Participates in process improvement efforts of the functional area.
  13. Has an understanding of the business, as well as knowing and understanding how to work with ITSS and other IT groups to accomplish goals.
  14. Understands the nature of proposed business/IT changes and will compose functional and technical specifications outlining the necessary changes to the business operation/process, organizational and/or applications.  
  15. Responsible for training users in new information technology solutions.
  16. Serve as a team lead on specific assignments.
  17. Understands and works within the framework of the Project Delivery Process (PDP) and the IT Operating Model.

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or other related discipline or related experience
  • 6-8 years’ relevant work experience
