Demand Planning Analyst

 

Pay Rate:

$65,100 – $86,800

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Owns the end-to-end demand planning processes in APO
    • Maintains AE's selection profiles and create forecasting and allocation CVC's as needed
    • Oversight of allocation data and processes
    • Reviews sales history and complete realignments to ensure sales forecasts are at the right level
    • Maintains Early Warning System in ECC
  • Monitors and improves forecast accuracy and bias through continuous evaluation of forecast performance metrics and statistical models
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the demand planning function.
  • Owns/maintains consignment inventory adjustments file
  • Prepares for and leads monthly Demand Review meeting with Key Business leaders
  • Maintains monthly reporting records and sales forecasting KPI's 
  • Provides analytical support for the Sales and Operations Planning Process
  • Serves as a backup for DPMATNR material database maintenance
  • Serves as a back-up to the Master Planner

 

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related area is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Statistical knowledge and comfort in working with statistical tools are required for success. Forecasting or APICS certification is a plus 
  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to gather and manipulate data using SAP, S2K, Excel and Access
  • Technical knowledge - Experience in SAP APO, strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills
  • Technical learning - Ability to learn technology, industry, company and products quickly
  • Demonstrated competence in common software programs (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Strong accuracy working with numbers
  • Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

About Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):

Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products. Our high-quality, superior grade pulps form the basis for diverse applications, ranging from personal care items to specialty materials. We create components for diapers, tissues and feminine care products, as well as sustainable materials for the textile and construction industry.
