The Job You Will Perform:
- Support HSE Safety Excellence in Action* initiative by developing, executing, and supporting strategic project plans that align with business goals, from initial scope through successful delivery.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities and administrative support by managing tasks, schedules, and documentation, while also creating and delivering clear project updates to ensure transparency and alignment with HSE priorities.
- Serve as a central liaison between HSE leadership, cross-functional teams, vendors, and technical partners to drive collaboration, remove roadblocks, and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project tools such as dashboards, logs, testing plans, and change documentation to track progress, manage risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This includes tracking training participation—potentially using systems like MyLearning—to monitor enrollment company-wide and provide site-level reports as needed to support contract targets and potential adjustments.
- Provide ongoing support to the Vice President of HSE and HSE Lead Team, including meeting coordination, document management, system enhancements, and general administrative assistance to keep operations running smoothly.
- Occasional travel (approximately 10%) may be required for in-person meetings or field support.

The Skills You Will Bring:
- Proven project management expertise, with a track record of supporting teams and keeping complex efforts on track from start to finish.
- Working knowledge of HSE and/or HR processes, systems, and change management best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all levels and craft clear, compelling project updates.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and simplify complex information.
- Technologically proficient, comfortable using project management tools and performing light system updates in cloud-based platforms.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with 3-5+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of a manufacturing environment, ideally in the pulp and paper industry with a safety focus preferred.
