Pay Rate:
$101,000 - $173,600
The PL of this role may vary (PL 14, 15, or 16) according to candidate skillset and experience.
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

Physical Location:
Location of the position is flexible but due to the extensive travel associated with the position the candidate must live near a major metropolitan airport.
The Job You Will Perform:
- Provide converting expertise and support to the packaging plants in the North Area. The nature of this job requires up to 100% travel, Monday morning through Friday afternoon every week.
- Report to the Manager of Continuous Improvement.
- Primary focus is to assist plant manufacturing teams, converting and maintenance teams in operational improvement. This role will be a resource for various types of converting equipment, the primary focus will be on all Valco equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Diagnose chronic equipment failures and advise on corrective actions
- Act as a liaison between equipment suppliers and adhesive vendors to ensure their products and services are meeting facility and division specifications
- Identify root causes for quality and productivity non-conformances and assist converting teams with corrective actions
- Be a subject matter expert as it relates to the converting aspects of the Manufacturing Reliability System (MRS)
- Develop and deliver MRS-related curriculum at regional & national workshops
The Skills You Will Bring:
- 10+ years industry/ converting experience
- 5+ years' experience with EVOL Mechanical & Electrical Installation and Troubleshooting
- Associates degree in a technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience
- Prior experience working with OEMs and various converting equipment is highly desired
- Proficient in the development and delivery of technical training
