The Job You Will Perform:
The Manufacturing Analyst reports directly to the Manager Manufacturing Analysis assisting in the coordination and the communications of raw material and energy pricing to all Containerboard Mills. This includes key roles in the development of Raw Material and Energy Pricing for Strategic Plans, Forecasts, Monthly Business Reviews, and Budgets. The position also acts as key financial support and reports to the Containerboard Division Manufacturing Finance Team and supports accounting activities for closed mills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly reports on major commodity cost movements and commodity forecasts. Work with raw material buyers to ensure data integrity and alignment.
- Lead role for coordinating development of materials standard
- prices for all commodities.
- Assist with PPV related ad hoc data analytics and reporting as required by the
- Container Division Finance Team.
- Prepare and distribute monthly manufacturing reports to Division and Mill Manufacturing teams.
- Prepare, analyze and communicate quarterly LIFO forecast data and analysis to corporate accounting/
- Prepare and distribute quarterly EBIT/EBITDA Mill Analysis
- Assist with ad hoc data analytics and reporting as required by the Division Manufacturing Finance Team
The Skills You Will Bring:
- BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting or business related
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to create and deliver business presentations using MS PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills
- Process-oriented with great attention to detail
- Candidate must be comfortable navigating systems and utilizing data to enhance business understanding
