NAC Talent Acquisition Team Lead

This position reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, NAC. The purpose of this position is to provide operational leadership for recruiters and recruiting teams to effectively fill open positions in a timely manner. This is a player / coach role in that the incumbent will be responsible for filling roles while at the same time coach, train, and mentor others on their team. This position may be worked remotely.

 

This role will have daily oversight of both recruiters and recruiting specialists. Other job functions may be added over time. This position will partner with business leaders and HR regional managers in their assigned area to ensure standardization, quality, compliance, and performance objectives are achieved.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Responsible for leading the daily recruiting efforts for a business or talent segment, including the effective deployment of recruiting resources to meet business needs to include requisition load distribution, prioritization, and alignment between recruiting and business priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of a select team to include providing training, coaching, development and feedback.
  • Provide proper tools and training as well as track key performance indicators. Ensure suitable coverage for the business recruiting needs when members of the team are out of office.
  • Develop recruiting techniques specific to job requirements and position success profiles to ensure adequate pipelines are maintained for key positions.
  • Monitor shared needs across the talent segment so that bronze and silver medalists can be directed to other openings where qualified.
  • Recruit diverse individuals and effectively position employment brand to attract top talent.
  • Proactively work with sourcing team to develop and maintain talent pool for critical positions.
  • Execute overall plan and strategy as designed by NAC management.
  • Other related recruiting functions / projects as assigned.

                                                                               

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • At least 5 years corporate / agency recruiting experience
  • More than two years’ experience working within an ATS
  • Familiar with federal regulations regarding corporate hiring practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor Degree (preferred)
