Pay Rate:

$57,200 - $86,800 (USCORE)

The PL of this role may vary (PL 6 – PL 8) according to candidate skillset and experience. Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job may be eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform: 

  • Serve as a single point of contact for our National Account Customers. In addition to coordinating all pricing and customer requests, key responsibilities include increasing IP’s profitability, creating a competitive advantage, and most importantly enhancing our Think the Customer reputation in the marketplace.
  • Must work in cooperation with (and support of) National Account Managers, Project Managers, design organization, management, box plants, customers while demonstrating actions representative of the International Paper Customer Experience.
  • Price new business comparatively to contract, being mindful of market levels and increasing margins where possible
  • Utilize and understand plant cost estimates to perform financial analysis, including cost savings projects
  • Manage National Account master price list including all SKU, spec, and pricing information
  • Understand and execute contractual deal points, including calculation and validation of price changes, calculation of rebates, and working with plants to implement payment terms
  • Build a positive rapport and maintain effective relationships with Customers & other key business partners to proactively communicate with customers regarding status of requests, delivering exceptional Customer Experience
  • Timely response to customer requests by coordinating information among manufacturing plants, the National Account Manager, and necessary cross-functional groups (credit, finance, B2B/EDI, etc.)
  • Monitor and work with National Account Manager & customer to capture price leakage (UEDs, Aged Inventory, Drop Trailers, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly customer & internal reports utilizing Consolidated Sales, PackInfo, and SMART (volume, sales, On Time Delivery, etc.)
  • Complete Deal Worksheet and Price Change History for customer(s), following all NA Standard Operating Procedures
  • Manage Payment Tracker and Calculate Rebates to support accurate accruals and payments to NA Customers
  • Assist in root cause problem solving surrounding customer issues and disputes
  • Effectively work with all levels of the organization to ensure customer expectations are being met

  • Witron & Costing experience preferred
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
