$137,400 - $183,200 / Full Time / Salaried

The Job You Will Perform:
- Accountable for financial oversight of several strategic business units/manufacturing locations that serve diverse markets, and are spread across several geographical areas. Position requires travel to support the region and local team members.
- The Region Controller has a solid line responsibility to the Region General Manager and dotted line responsibility to the Group Controller.
- Responsible for leadership and oversight of the finance function within the region to include (but not limited to):
- Strong leadership and development capabilities to grow and develop finance talent (Facility controllers, controller associates, analysts, specialists, team leads).
- Supports the RGM in the development and execution of strategy deployment within the region
- Ability to support the development of key initiatives and KPIs to support the region that will provide meaningful impacts to EBITDA improvement
- Ability to effectively summarize and report out financial results and align with the region to determine needed action plans to impact results
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Proficiency with tools, data and analytics with the ability to use various data analysis tools and software to extract, manipulate and analyze data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Provides substantial input into the optimization and asset investment needs of the region.
- Leads with safety and an 80/20 mindset, prioritizing the most impactful tasks
- Skilled in conducting ad hoc analysis, overseeing project management, M&A/Divestiture and integration work (as applicable)
- Maintains & ensures that an adequate system of internal controls exists for the facilities within the region with effective development and implementation of business processes
- Facilitates the maintenance of accurate financial statements and records
- Ability to interpret and apply US GAAP, Cost Accounting principles and key internal controls across facilities in region.
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
- College degree in Accounting/Finance
- Advanced degree, or certification desirable
- 5-10 years Finance Controller experience and/or applicable finance or strategic work
- Knowledge or experience in a manufacturing environment
- Converting operations knowledge desirable
- Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures
- Strong attention to detail with solid organizational, and analytical skills
- Must be a self-starter and deliver on objectives
- Ability to work with various teams, provide guidance and ensure alignment
- Ability to deal well with ambiguity
- Proficiency in Accounting/Finance, Oral and Written Communication Skills, PC Skills, IP Systems Knowledge, Ethics and Values, Internal Controls
