The Job You Will Perform:
- Define and document functional specifications for custom developed applications based on business requirements
- Work with HR resources to support, identify, gather information, and develop change requests for existing sustain issues or new requirements
- Understand, design, build, implement and sustain best practice solutions for the functional area
- Configure SAP HCM and other HR related applications to enable defined business processes and complete configuration documentation
- Execute proof of concept testing in a cross team environment to validate design assumptions
- Perform testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the solution
- Work cohesively with IT and HR resources
- Track progress, communicate milestones and escalate issues to management
- Ensure business needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with team management and team
- Identify, assess impact, and provide recommendation for resolution of issues related to HR business processes, procedural and system changes; escalate problems of high complexity and severity
- Analyze and understand business data to support decision making and effectively present information
- Evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions that meet needs while maintaining business standards.
- Ability to analyze application integrations and facilitate discussions with IT Shared Service partners to resolve issues and/or improve application performance
- Additional duties as assigned
The Skills You Will Bring:
- Expertise in SAP Organizational Management and Personnel Administration to include ESS/MSS capabilities leveraging UI5 applications, SAP Fiori Apps and WDA solutions.
- Strong understanding of other SAP modules such as SAP Payroll, Benefits, Time and Compensation
- Technical skills to include understanding and debugging ABAP code
- Familiarity of IDOC and ALE processes
- Knowledge of the SAP integration between the SAP HCM modules and external systems like SAP ECC/BW, SAP Portals, SAP SuccessFactors, as well as in-depth knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI).
- Ability to analyze application integrations and facilitate discussions with IT Shared Service partners to resolve issues and/or improve application performance
- Demonstrated ability to consult on technical direction of global HR initiatives
- Strong communication skills that will facilitate comfortable and effective interactions with various IT and business groups and their management
- Technical process and procedure design capabilities
- Understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to make recommendations
- Ability to bring innovation and change to a significant IT functional area
- Minimum of 6 years of IT experience with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of multiple project experience
- 3-5 years of SAP experience
- Strong analyticial and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function in an ever-changing environment
