Pay Rate:
$94,500 - $126,000
Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short-term incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform: This position reports to the Manager, Reporting and Printed Documents within Omega Services and Solutions and is responsible for managing the direction of Omega Solutions and Services – Reporting and Printed Documents, working closely with the Technical Architect and a team of a highly skilled product developers. Agile delivery methods are used to design, build, deploy and sustain custom software solutions that enable manufacturing, shipping, and warehousing processes across International Paper globally. This position will help teams and teammates understand how to estimate, prioritize with the business, develop, test, and implement product backlog items. This position does not have any direct reports.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic
- Seeks out opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and bring them to the attention of their team lead for consideration.

- Collaborates with Technical Architect and other teams to ensure risks associated with technical roadmap are planned for
- Participates in early training and discussions around new technologies to assist in planning for team bench strength
- Assists with planning for go-live/critical care schedules and travel

- Coordinates activities with product owners and other Application Services functional teams
- Mentors junior members
- Provides technical, functional, and leadership opportunities for teammates. (Example: rotate standups, presentations, new technologies, functional areas, etc.)
- Notifies manager of any questions, issues, or concerns that arise
- Measure and monitor team performance at the team and team member levels
- Provide feedback to team members
- Provide feedback to manager(s)
- Participate in interviews and on-boarding process for new hires

Customers
- Builds relationships with ITSS functional & technical, COE and Manufacturing partners
- Provides support in managing the backlog for the Omega Product
- Proactively anticipates customer needs
- Provides leadership towards fulfilling on-time delivery
Operational Excellence
- Focuses on management of deliverables (both products and services) appropriate for the team lead and/or team. Examples: Code, requirements, testing, management, removing obstacles etc.
- Possesses, is capable of delegating, and/or acquiring knowledge in functional, technical, and architectural areas.
- Influences application and technical architecture directions in .NET application, reports, shipping documents, and label design and development
- Is highly skilled in the entire development process (technical analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation)
- Ensures creation and maintenance of technical documentation for software development tools and processes
- Proactively manages down technical debt
- Develop processes to gain user feedback in order to improve user quality-of-life
- Offers rotational Tier 1 after-hours support
- Occasional travel to production facilities or other events or locations may be required
- While the position is currently serviced primarily remotely, you must have the ability to come to the Memphis Towers if and/or when required

The Skills You Will Bring:
Education and General Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other comparable experience
- 6-8 years of IT development experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
- Experience with International Paper SCOM systems such as Web-based Omega for 6+ months preferred
Functional Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping operations
- Demonstrated experience of management of both products and services deliverables
- Possesses and/or is capable of acquiring knowledge in functional, technical, and architectural areas.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, supervision and organizational skills

- Excellent communication (written, oral, presentation) skills

Technical
- Experienced and knowledgeable in:
- Front-end development tools such as Angular and Typescript
- Front-end tooling workflows such as Node.js (NPM), SASS/SCSS, WebPack, Angular-CLI, and NX
- Unidirectional data flow patterns such as Redux
- Reactive programming techniques/libraries such as RxJS
- CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design
- Integrated Development Environments such as Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Integration and/or development with Crystal Reports for reporting solutions
- Web development using .Net 4.6 or higher, with .Net Core preferred
- Oracle database developer tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD
- Query development for use in reporting and web solutions
- Web development using WebForms
- Messaging frameworks such as MassTransit, RabbitMQ, and SignalR
- Automated UI testing tools such as Selenium
- Strong functional design experience in a highly integrated multi-technology environment
- Good understanding of Agile delivery principles such as scrum
