3 Shifts:

Crew I  -  7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Crew II  - 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Crew III - 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Ability to work any shift - some 12 hours shifts required to meet customer demands.

• Responsible for assisting Mechanic A and B on all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. The Mechanic Helper performs preventive maintenance monthly.  It consists of greasing and visual inspections. Demonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products. . Follow up all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properly. Must be able to enter work orders and look up parts in SAP system. Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed. Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines. Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts. Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

  Mechanic B tasks that are performed consist with walking; pulling, lifting, bending, climbing ladders or stairs and twisting. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

   

   

The Skills You Will Bring:

Tasks for the Maintenance Department are done in a continuous run environment. Employees must have acute awareness of their surroundings and be able to clearly communicate to their co-workers in a timely manner. This job is hot in the summer and hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, and eye protection is required.
