The Job You Will Perform:

• Provide leadership and support within a high performance work system team to all facets of the manufacturing process while on shift.  The Team Leader is responsible for team performance, team member engagement and achieving manufacturing results on a shift-to-shift basis.  Must support and exemplify the vision and organizational values of International Paper Maysville Mill.
• Be a safety leader of a production operations team, ensuring safety is the #1 priority. 
• Manages daily shift operations of a production team with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Supports team with operating issues by providing leadership and guidance
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• New employee onboarding and performance evaluations
• Manage training priorities on team

The Skills You Will Bring:

• REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 5 years related experience in a manufacturing facility; Engineering degree preferred; Pulp & Paper experience required
• Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of operations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others
• Excellent skills in organizing, planning and priority setting
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Willingness to work rotating shift to include weekends and holidays as per schedule
