Background: Direct and monitor warehouse operations and delivery systems, including shipping and receiving.  Provide leadership for the shipping and receiving team in the areas of safety, process reliability, housekeeping, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness and people systems; promotes continuous improvement and reliable methods within the organization.


Key Functions:

  • Plan, direct and monitor warehouse operations and delivery systems, including shipping and receiving.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipping of goods to meet customer needs.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and effective receiving procedures.
  • Coordinate preparation and loading of trucks for shipments and delivery of orders
  • Maintains and controls physical condition of the warehouse
  • Manage and control delivery expenses and capital
  • Ensure compliance with company and government regulations and policies for safety, OSHA, HazMat, DOT etc.



  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people/teams. 
  • Must have problem solving, analytical, and team skills.
  • Must possess excellent computer systems knowledge and skills.
  • Written and oral communication skills.  
  • The successful candidate must have the desire to develop and work in a high performance/empowered work environment; and the ability to coach, train, and empower others.
  • Corrugated packaging experience a plus.
