Maintenance Technician

 

Pay Rate:

$27.84/hr. up to $38.35/hr.( 2nd shift $0.31 differential, 3rd shift $0.33 differential)

 

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 3:00 am to 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 3:00 am, 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, 11:00 pm to 11:00 am, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am– Monday-Friday) Some Saturdays required

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring position, repositioning components, and observing operations.
  • Performing emergency break downs
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and other repairs and installations as needed.
  • Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
  • Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.
  • Troubleshooting and solving problems
  • Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.
  • Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
  • Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmissions and lubrication
  • Mechanical and Electrical skills
  • Knowledge of a Manufacturing Plant
